This privacy policy applies to the Nyland Cohousing Sunday Meals RSVP system ("the App"), operated by Nyland Cohousing Community, Lafayette, Colorado.

Information We Collect

We collect the following information from residents who join the Sunday Meals program:

• Name
• Phone number
• Email address
• Dietary restrictions or preferences (optional)
• RSVP responses (attending or not attending a given meal)

How We Use Your Information

• To send weekly SMS or email reminders about upcoming Sunday meals
• To track meal attendance so cooks can plan the right amount of food
• To share dietary restriction summaries with the household cooking that week (no names attached)

We do not sell, share, or disclose your personal information to any third party outside of the service providers listed below.

SMS Messaging

By providing your phone number and joining the Sunday Meals program, you consent to receive SMS reminders from Nyland Cohousing. Message frequency is approximately 1–2 messages per week during active meal seasons. Message and data rates may apply.

To opt out of SMS messages at any time, reply STOP to any message or contact SundayMealLogistics@nyland.cohousing.site.

Service Providers

We use the following third-party services to operate the App:

• Supabase — secure database hosting (supabase.com)
• Twilio — SMS delivery (twilio.com)
• Resend — email delivery (resend.com)
• Vercel — web hosting (vercel.com)

These providers receive only the minimum information necessary to deliver their service. Phone numbers and email addresses are never exposed in the public-facing website.

Data Retention

Your information is retained for as long as you are an active participant in the Sunday Meals program. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at SundayMealLogistics@nyland.cohousing.site.
